THIS COPY BELONGED TO THE DIRECTOR ELIA KAZAN WHOSE OWNERSHIP SIGNATURE AND DATE IS ON THE TOP EDGE OF THE FRONT ENDSHEET. The book was being considered by Kazan as a film project is filled with his handwritten notes and ideas on how he would make the film and what parts of the book were of interest to him. Unfortunately the film was never made. There is a touch of staining to a few pages of the book, along with minor light wear and shaking. Also lacking the dustjacket. This was a well read and handled book by the director. Vg.
