Biography of Stevenson, written shortly after his big defeat for the presidency, a not uncommon book but the letters make it a bit special. LAID IN IS A SMALL WHITE INDEX CARD THAT HAS BEEN INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY AL PACINO. Nice rare 1 page 9" x 12" preview program with a lift up flap for Brian DePalma's over the top remake of the Howard Hawk classic. The film starred Al Pacino in a legend making performance as Tony Montana whose nationality for this version was changed from Italian to Cuban. The film was long, violent and profane and was a huge hit with audiences. Pacino's signature is uncommon. Light wear to the program. Vg. Also included is a nice full color collection of eight 8" x 11" scene cards that are printed on heavy stock paper. All of the cards with the exception of 1 card features Pacino. One card has a very faint soft and hardly noticeable corner crease, otherwise the cards are near fine and very scarce. Sold as a collection only.

The book's dustjacket has some rubbing and some tiny tears, Also included is a program from TAKE IT FROM THE TOP. This is a 6pg. foldover program from the Off Broadway production that had words and lyrics by Ruby Dee and starred her and her husband Ossie Davis. THE PROGRAM IS SIGNED BY RUBY DEE, OSSIE DAVIS, LOU MEYERS AND PAMELA POITIER (sidney's daughter).the program is fine. Also included is an original color tinted 11" x 14" lobby card from the 1960 film "Take A Giant Step" which featured Ruby Dee. The card features a scene with Dee, Johnny Nash & Bea Richards. Also included is a nice 8" x 10" portrait of Ossie Davis that HAS BEEN INSCRIBED AND SIGNED BY HIM. Sold as a collection only.

Also included are paperback original copies of Delany's "The Towers Of Toron" published as an Ace double in 1964 along with "The Lunar Eye" by Robert Moore Williams & "Empire Star" by Delany which was published by Ace Double in 1966 along with "The Tree Lord Of Imeten" by Tom Purdom. Both books have minute cover wear, light creasing and usual browning to the cheap paper used otherwise vg. Sold as a collection only.
