Laid in is a member calendar that has a color portrait of Kusama on the cover, and a press release for a show of hers that was held in nyc in 2013. Also included is a copy of t The Archive 43 which is the journal of the Leslie Lohman Museum Of Gay and Lesbian Art and includes a 3pg. review by Jonathan David Katz of the Whitney Show illustrated. Please not that the magazine contains sexually explicit mateial. All the material is in fine condition and uncommon.

Near fine/near fine. Also included is a nice 8 1/2" x 9 1/2" color illustration of a rabbit in the woods with a little girl. The caption reads "The sun is yellow." said Mr. Rabbit. "But I can't give her the sun." said the little girl, THIS HAS BEEN SIGNED IN INK BY MAURICE SENDAK. Also laid in is a large postcard for Wild Things Week NYC, which was a series of readings and other events for the opening of the film. Sold as a collection only.

The large and lavish catalog is beautiuflly illustrated with all of the paintings in the series in color along with many essays and many historical and archival photographs. There is a teeny tiny dent to the very tip of the front bottom corner of the cover, otherwise near fine. Laid in also is a nice foldover announcement printed on heavy stock for a group exhibition of African American artists including Lawrence. His painting "School Bus" 1941 is illustrated in color inside the announcement.

The first major book on the inovative eccentric personal artist and his many interesting works from the early 1960's to the mid 1970's. Illustrated with 265 illustrations including several tipped in plates and 75 full color repros. Light wear to the spine of the dustjacket, and the fold-out tipped in the book has light wear, and creasing. Very minute soiling to the white back panel of the dustjacket, and minor mends to the back gutter of the book. There is also very faint bumping to the top corner of the front endsheet which is lightly mirrored to some pages. All in all a very good copy of one of the cumberson but excellent Abrams monographs that were published in the early to mid seventies that are rarely seen nowadays especially in fine condition.

Illustrated with many small color repros.
