An original American release 8" x 10" horz. close-up portait of Eddie Constantine as Lemmy Cauction whose skin looks like a close-up of an oatmeal cookie from Godards's Alphaville which was one of his semi accessible films mixing sci-fi with film noir. Stylish with a wonderful supporting cast and some uncredited cameos. Based on a poem by Paul Eluard. Cinematography by the great Raoul Coutard.

A nice collection of b&w 8" x 10" original stills from two of David Cronenberg's better films. The collection includes 7 stills from Croneberg's remake of "The Fly" that starred Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis. Most of the stills have 2 scenes per page, and a 10 still set from 1988's "Dead Ringers" that starred Jeremy Irons in a dual role as very troubled twin doctors. Genevieve Bujold played their love interest. Considered by some to be the best film of 1988. Sold as a collection only.

The first major bio. and career study of the director, most know for his Frankenstein films. Whale's life was the basis for the well received film "Gods And Monsters." 52 photos + film and theatre credits. Fine. Laid in is a scarce copy of the 24pg. monograph "Arriving In Hollywood Letters 1929" which is a collection of letters that James Whale wrote when he first came to Hollywood. This was published in 1989 by Santa Teresa Press in a small edition of 300 copies. This copy has been inscribed by the publisher and rare book dealer James Pepper who also co-wrote the intro. along with James Curtis. Fine.

Also included are paperback original copies of Delany's "The Towers Of Toron" published as an Ace double in 1964 along with "The Lunar Eye" by Robert Moore Williams & "Empire Star" by Delany which was published by Ace Double in 1966 along with "The Tree Lord Of Imeten" by Tom Purdom. Both books have minute cover wear, light creasing and usual browning to the cheap paper used otherwise vg. Sold as a collection only.
