THIS IS A SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION OF ONLY 250 COPIES WHICH HAVE BEEN SIGNED BY PHILIP DUNNE AND RODDY McDOWALL. A lovely edition of the screenplay for the John Ford directed adaptation of the Richard Llewellyn novel about a Welsh mining community. The film was a popular and critical sucess and was nominated for 10 Oscars wining 5 including best picture over "Citizen Kane", but the screenplay lost out to "Here Comes Mr. Jordan." Go figure. Includes a long intro. by Dunne and 15 nicely reproduced stills. Fine/fine.
