SIGNED BY AUGUST WILSON OPPOSITE HIS SHORT BIOGRAPHY. Nearly 100pg. program for the American Academy's award cememony honoring writers, musicians and artists. Includes written tributes and speechs by some of the honree's along with a nice fold-out color group portrait and several smaller b&w photos. This is one of the most highly regarded awards given in the arts, and Wilson was just one among a very impression group. This is also an uncommon signed item by the late playwright. Fine.

A nice fresh copy of Wilson's prize winning play "Seven Guitars." Laid in the book is a small color snapshot of the playwright and an addressed but never mailed envelope with his Seattle Address printed on the left corner of the envelope, along with a nice color postcard for the play. ALSO INCLUDED IS AN 8" X 10" CLOSE-UP COLOR PORTRAIT OF THE LATE PLAYWRIGHTTHAT HE HAS SIGNED IN BLUE INK. Also laid in is a nice foldover announcement for the recent revival of "Joe Turner's Come And Gone." Wilson was one of America's best playwrights who won practically every major drama and theatre award including several Pulitzer Prizes before his untimely and sad death a few years back. Signed material by him is scarce. Sold as a collection only.
