5 Bergman, Ingmar Signed Ingmar Bergman Photograph
New York The American Scandinavian Fondation 1985 1st Edition Oversize Paper
SIGNED PHOTOGRAPH OF INGMAR BERGMAN. The photograph is a large close-up portrait of the director that was published in the program for "Northern Lights Shine At Lincoln Center" which was a salute in film and live performances honoring seventy-five years of Nordic contributions to the performing arts in America and a salute to The American-Scandinavian Fondation on its 75th anniversary. Part of the evening's festivities was the awarding of the 1st Ingmar Bergman Award given to a fine or performing artist born in Scandinavia. The 1st recipient was Mr. Bergman who is without doubt one of the great artistic masters of the Twentieth Century and one of the great filmmakers of all time. Needless to say signed material by him is indeed rare. The program is loose from the covers, but is in fine condition, and the photograph is also in fine condition.
