1 Du Bois, William Pene, Story and Pictures By The Flying Locomotive
New York The Viking Press 1941 1st Edition Small Oblong Bds. Without Dj.
Charming small children's book by Du Bois about a locomotive that really flys. Illustrated with 16 delicately colored drawings along with 12 b&w ones. The book is lacking its dustjacket. There is a small stain towards the bottom of the front edge which also appears as a tiny sliver to several margins of a few pgs. + a larger stain to the margin of 2 pgs. However none of the staining ruins any of the artwork. There is also minute wear to the points and edges of the boards, but considering that this book once belonged to a child it is in surprisingly vg. condition.
