This one on acting was co-written with his wife the marvelous Jean Porter who was a delight in any film she appeared in during the 30's & 40's. Unfortunately Dmytryk made his last good film in 1953 with "The Caine Mutiny" and although he made films till 1975 they were mostly duds, with the possible exception of his camp trilogy "Walk On The Wild Side" "The Carpetbaggers &" Where Love Has Gone".
