New York The Jonathan Press Inc. 1946 1st Mercury Mystery Digest Paper
Uncommon digest appearance of "Build My Gallows High" which was the basis for the semial Noir thriller that was released as "Out Of The Past" with Robert Mitchum in the lead. The film was and is one of the best films of 1947 and certainly ranks very high up on great Film Noir movies. This copy has very minute soiling to the George Salter covers and there is usual browning to the cheap paper used, but it is quite mild here, and in fact this copy appears unread. Near fine.
