An original undated handwritten note in ink on small Ritz-Carlton Hotel stationary from the late great Actress Dame Judith Anderson to the author and poet Conrad Aiken. The note reads "Dear Mr. Aiken many thanks for your excitingly truthy "The Earthy Mystery" (this part is hard to make out, so this is my best guess) It is indeed a lot to live up to I hope that I will not fail.
